The Pea Patch Forum

Well over 10 years ago I began collecting Jack Hyles material and placing it in one central location online. On a whim, I added an open unmoderated discussion board. That experiment birthed the stuff of legends with the original “Fightin’ Fundamentalist Forum.”

Without going into the details here, in 2005 I let the forum die because of personal issues; namely Hurricane Katrina. Another web site picked up the baton, adopted the orphaned forum name, and ran with it. I’ve been out of the loop for over half a decade. I know the landscape of the internet has changed in the intervening years. I dutifully have been doing nothing more than paying the hosting bill for this site. My neglect resulted in in a disheveled site of broken links, abandoned features, and outdated verbiage.

A recent server upgrade by my site provider sparked my curiosity. I wonder what would happen if I revamped the site a bit and reopened the conversation; bringing the thing full circle. In an effort to reintroduce a little more fun into fundamentalism, I’ve launched a blog with open comments and installed a new discussion board.

With a hat tip to the web site’s name sake, I invite you to head to the Pea Patch Forum.
